really getting in the overseas mood man..after loo came back and told me & tina all about korea and hk!!! argh...couldnt get out of sg this dec...all because of my sister's fyp.DANG!so have to wait before her grad which is sooooooo long when everybody's going overseas now!!!nvm...at least now got tina to pei me.(u also in the same boat as me right)Lol.

two years has passed...as the saying goes, time and tide wait for no man...my uniform days are over...no more flag raising and the singing of the national anthem,rushing for morning assembly and scanning of the ez-link card.

for me, i had truely enjoyed my jc life and all thanks to NYTR !and maybe also JAR.ahha
because of these friends that made my stay in tpjc seem to end soooooooooooooooo fast!

haiz...looking back at all the stoopid photos(esp. rahman) we took made me feel nostalgia for my college days....haha. grad day puts an end to my jc life but these friends i made will be forever.right tina?=)

it was really great knowing u guys, LOO the 'maid' always being 'bullied' by us but forever helpfuland never scold a single bad word, TINA my 101 bf and dance mate(stop flirting with other girls!!!) , SIYING the lao da who always took care of us and last but not least, RAHMAN for his gay shit and britney craze. This blog is so dead till im not even sure whether i've got readers. I dont know where to begin because everyday's just a routine ever since school started. They're mainly practical, lecture, more lectures, home, online-shop, practical once again and it just goes on and on and on.. I've not seen chui, bao and wh for ages! Like hello, Chui got her braces on for say 3 weeks, and im like the last to know? Or am i not last? Wanhua, y'all know anot?!
So anyway, it's alr the second week of school and im a little intimidated by biostatistics. I reckon im slow in my excel as compared to my classmates ): Ok wadever, just pay attention in class. Can't wait for tmr to come! I'm yearning for the famous Tanjong Pager's muffins! I heard from Eileen that some shop over there sells cheap cream puffs and they taste pretty good as well, similar to those of beard papa's!

On a lighter note, I've been kind of moody, or perhaps, i get upset over the slightest stuff. I've always thot being on good terms with your friends(those that you're not so close with) is the least you should do. However sometimes, I find it hard to actually accept their way of doing. Maybe that's bcos our common interest totally differ? Or maybe they've got a low sense of humour. Gosh! I seriously dont know. This is just too tedious to be dealt. Sidetracking a bit, it'll be my sister 's 16th birthday this coming sunday!! Sweet Sixteen sweetheart! (:
She is no longer that willful kid, who threw tantrum to those who gets in her way, who gets out of hand at times, who can't be bothered with her studies, who panick only at the very last minute, who ask me physics questions when the clock struck twelve.
She is definitely more mature now-physically & mentally and more concern about her school work, which was an absolutely great thing. Keep it up and all the best for your last paper :D

I spent my past few nights in torment, tossing and turning in bed, trying to decide which is the best position for my mouth ulcers and infected ear. But still, it hurts even with the slightest touch. I've no choice but to apply this fast relieving gel on my ulcers, which i dont really like cos' it makes my mouth really really dry and it hurts when first applied.

However, after a few seconds, the pain will be totally gone! :D

Like the old saying says "Once bitten, twice shy". Never would i step into that long queue at raffles city basement ever again! My feet were so exhausted after the 4hours odd standing. It's definitely one excellent way to test one's patience.

While boonchoon carmen and i were waiting, we met all sorts of people. There's this middle-aged man who approached us, asking if the donuts were free. When we told him they aren't, he gave us this "omg are you people crazy" look.

hurray! we got silver for syf! considered that half of our dance have no dance background and we still managed to achieve the same medal as our seniors!!!!! although it was not our best performance...lots of mistakes..but i feel REALLY DAMN proud of our whole dance team!!! gonna miss those days where we train for 4 days in a week and all our tshirts drenched with perspire at the end of the day. though its damn freaking tired and busy...i think these are the good old days that i will never forget. btw, congrats to rahman and modern dance for getting GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

First, I'm alr kinda reluctant to blog after i've found out that my dearest wanhua had alr posted an entry. But i told myself no! The day before (22/03)
Went over to madeleine's place for some activity. But before that, met both shuhui and mad at marine parade for some grocery shopping. It's my very first time shopping for omg capsicum and mushrooms? Oh and we met one very weird ah soh there! Our spaghetti was awesome. We walked to Video Ezy which was not too far away and rented the exorcist. I was told that it's the FIRST scary movie. And it was scary indeed (but more to the gross part). After that, fenni left us. KBOX TIME YAY! I was facinated by the fact that both shuhui and i share the same childhood idol -Mavis. I used to listen to her songs when im like in kindergarden and gosh! I can still rmb them. :D

Went to Shangri-La for my cousin's wedding last Sunday.
One word to describe the dinner - Disappointing.
not only the food wad bad for their standard, the services were also bad! Even boon lay raja is better. Totally ruin my impression of Shangri-La and this was the first wedding dinner i went to that didn’t make me feel bloated! the servings were so pathetic and not proportionate...some of my cousins got the bones of the chicken with little meat stuck to it. Throughout the 8-course dinner, only 2 dishes were not bad. We were so not full that we even tried to fulfill our hunger by drinking lots of sprite. Okay…one little complement…the red wine was not bad…at least it wasn’t that sappy. Even thought the dinner was ‘urgh’, I admit that the ballroom was beautiful. But overall, the ‘bads’ outnumbered the ‘goods’ of the hotel.
Whew, lucky prom is not held there.

Hongkong was awfully splendid! Before i took off, many told me that the food there was awesome and of a very big serving. Yeap, they were half right. The food there was definitely of a bigger serving but not as nice as it seems. The worst meal was egg and luncheon noodle! Boonchoon carmen and i thought that it must be some DRY beehoon bcos its paired with luncheon meat and egg. But alas, its maggie in soup! What's worse?! They threw in FRIED EGG and FRIED luncheon causing the maggie soup to be terribly oily! It's extremely gross and it bloody costs us about 4sgd!
First Day
We purchased an octopus card and an airport express tix the very minute we reached hk. Then we headed to olympic station where our hotel is situated. Right after, we proceed to central station for lunch and shopping. Evening, we made for the peak, where Madame Tussauds situates. Took heaps of pictures which were all loaded into my photo album. Laugh all you want while browsing (:
Second Day
Took off to disneyland early in the morning. Spent almost the whole day there. If you're going to hongkong for a holiday, i highly recommend disneyland as one of the MUST-GO attractions! Despite the costly entrance fee (: We spent most of our time searching for mascots (taking pictures).
Third Day
We set off for the great giant buddha the very morning. It was severely cold that day. The sculpture is known as the world's tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha. One of the main attractions of this Buddha statue is climbing 268 steps up where the Buddha sits. And can you believe it?! The four of us managed to reach the peak! However, our limbs were all wobbly and we were panting like crazy. Right after, we went on to Tsim Sha Tsui to watch the avenue of stars at their waterfront.
Fourth Day
We travelled to the wishing tree which is far far away from our hotel. It was then that i realised red colour cabs are much more cheaper than green colour cabs. When we reached our destination, we found out that the former wishing tree has changed. The tree's botak and they have alr removed those "bao die" which were once thrown up the tree. The four of us wrote our wishes on the "bao die"s and hung them on some wooden plank. Next up, Snoopy land! Nothing much there, in fact, its kinda boring. Hence, we took a few pictures, shop shop at zara and esprit then scurried off to causeway bay and mongkok for more shopping.
Fifth Day
Have to meet up with carmen's hongkong relatives bcos her mom needs her to buy handphones back to singapore. Thus, we did some touch-up. We went to places which we have not entirely explored. After which, we met carmen's aunt in the evening at mongkok. Her uncle treated us stinky tofu. The smell was not as pungent as I thought it will be. One of a cousin brought us around mongkok area since mongkok's like so big. We also tried their well-known mango and strawberry ice! They were heavenly (:
Sixth Day
I've been wanting to go ocean park like say the first day of the trip, thinking that it'll be very fun. It aint that great unfortunately ): We saw 2 cute eurasian girls-sammi & tania at the frog hopper ride. I chatted with them since they're on the same ride as me. I learnt that they're singaporean (their mom: chinese, dad: scottish). We met them again later in the evening while we're about to go back. Tania went onto the same cable car as me and told me manymany stuffs! Both of us agree that plump boys are smelly and ugly :D
Last Day
Set off to stanley street which was recommended by Tania's mom. Then we went Tsim Sha Tsui to get my skinnies changed and carmen bought her patty anne (: Thereafter, boonchoon bought her 15boxes of lao po bing at sogo!

My sis and i woke up uber early to get prepared. The picture below is my hair for the day, and im totally proud of it!

Our first destination was my paternal grandparents' place! We spent like an approximately 5hrs there? Its kinda boring cos there's no com, no cable teevee and no cousins of my age. So mainly i've no one to talk to except for my dearest sister. But my dearest sis fell asleep and im all by myself for the next hr or so ):
Second destination was my maternal grandparents' place! YEA! That's the ahma that brought me up (: and im definitely much much closer to the cousins there. Cos most of our age gaps are only one year different.

DAMN CUTE CAN?

The third destination, which is also the last destination was my place! Many relatives came over to my place for dinner. We accompanied the kids down for some leisure. Since Singapore banned the use of firecrackers, we used fire sparkles, or wadever you call it, instead.

Eeeeeee yuck! I dont see how fun can those sparkles be. The sparks get onto your hand and you'll only feel pain.

Hence, the four of us gave up our sticks to the kids and we proceed to the playground. My sis suggested that we shall go across to the other end w/o landing on the ground. I managed to reach the first phase but due to certain circumstances my mission's failed.

Hooray! No more exams or tests for the next 2mths! Post-exam celebration on 8thFeb was tiring for everyone i suppose. The mood was just not there. I only managed to catch 2hrs of sleep the previous night. -yawns. I compensated with approx 13hrs of sleep the day after. I still feel tired though. Alright, enough of the sleeping hours stuff.
Oh and i'm dying to get my very own ophthalmoscope and retinoscope! DOPT ppl, when are we actually going to get it? They said the stocks will arrived 8Feb dint they? Lousy inefficient people! Yuck! Make me look forward to nothing.

sigh...havent been sleeping much this week and woke up late..then ended up have to have a mini sprint to the mrt. and its not coz of mugging but its because of this show that ends at 2am on animal planet that is keeping me awake. its a doctumentary film on animal abuses where the US's ASPCA receive info about animals being abused or not well taken care of and they will rescue and treat these poor animals to give them a new life. it pains me so much to see them suffering that i couldnt tear away my eyes from the tv and go to slumberland.

there is a case where the ppl from ASPCA found a dying dog in his covered in his own pool of shit!!!!YUCK!!! how can one treat their animals like this!!!

Yay! chuilin's first post is finally up!
I cant wait for 8 feb to come, though my concession ends that day. So many many things to be done! First thing first, I've got to find myself a good job so as to fund my hk trip (: Next, is of cos to enjoy myself la! Kbox, go out with chuaKL, stayover and the list goes on..

23/12: Mainly last minute shopping for christmas pressie.

Eve: Went to marine parade to get blueberry tarts for my angel, which is boonchoon. I was quite disappointed with Q bread though. Well you see, i bought 6 blueberry tarts so i at least expect their staff to packaged them in a box or something. The box need not be nice, even those for muah chees also can. But no, she just pinched those pathetic tarts into a cheapskate plastic. Worse of all, no rubberband. I still had to take rubberband and a ribbon from mad to "decor" those tarts. I've to include this info to let you know how horrible my DOPT clique people can be!
All of us were supposed to meet at mad's place at ard 12-12.30pm. Surprisingly, I'm the first, and i arrived at ard 1.40pm -.-
We only get ourselves ready at ard 6 plus i think? (I'm not too sure though, im too engrossed helping the others in their make-up)
Dined at breeks; then off to esplanade; get more food; saw pretty anju; carrefour-ed; got lost-cant find our bus 36; countdown; exchange gifts; poker cards; alcohols; horrendous beatings; watch teevee; compete blanket with boonchoon; zZzzzZ
Nothing special on the 25th. Just that the bus 76 (3*60R) we took home was frigging hilarious. It's engine kept dying off. Like say 5 or 6 times.
Two possiblities we came up with:

engine died
simply cos the driver dont know how to change gear.

Tutored my sexy plump cousin early this morning. She is extremely horrendous. And yingyin was like: "Haiyo.. Why didya agree to tutor her in the first place?!" No choice la, i need moolahs badly. Well anyw, im pretty shocked that wanhua's not late today. She's surprisingly early, and it's super nice of her to accompany me to my cousin's place under the scorching hot weather. All i remembered was that we walked an awfully long distance. Had chilled soyabean milk, some meesua and a bite of some crispy thang (i have no idea wad it's called). Our next crave was katong laksa. We alighted opposite roxy sq. and ahead of us were many many many laksa stalls. The air-conditioned one was our pick. Finished our food within mins and strolled to wanhua's fav place: parkway. Speaking of physio reminds me of our dearest tan lili and i've to add on that she's really nice.

Friday night's a blast! I've to agree with whoever who came out with this statement: The night is young. After celebrating pikxuan's b'd at amk (we had porridge steamboat), we went for a kbox session at amk of cos (: The kbox thingy was impromptu. We went to ask for the price at first, after we learnt that the price was 26+++, we hesitated. The the manager by the name of joeyyyyyy came and said that she'll give us one free membership if we sing. We thought it was a good deal and told her that we'll be back after walking shimin down. When nearing the lift, she added on that she'll charge us the price of 4 person when there's 5 of us singing. OMGGGG! So nice right?! With all this incentives, it's a must to go, if not very dui bu qi zi ji. Plus the people there are so friendly, unlike marina et al. Sang till 3am then cabbed down to carmen's. Cant wait for christmas to come!!!

We had a real blast at mad's on sat. To ruohan: you should have come with us la, i need you to teach me some mani/pedi skills. Oh! And i discovered something really shocking to all. For those that know me well, they know that im like kinda gross. Gross not mentally but physically. I hate bathing la, have no idea why also. But dont cha find it troublesome? Well anyw, i've found out that mad and shuhui were equally gross. Therefore, i shall declare here that we're THREE OF A KIND! Eh no?! I think they're worse than me. Expectedly, the three of us only bother to bathe once a day. The only difference from me to them is that i bathe at night, which means after school and everything, to get rid all the eeeky sweat and bacteria. They?! OMGGGG! They bathe in the morning, before school which is, then heck after that.
Tell me; tell me!!!! WHO MORE ERXIN?! OF COS IS SHUHUI AND MAD LA! ok period.
Ok back to stayover stuffs, the first thing i did when i reached mad's hse was to hog on her sis's com while shuhui wenta dig for ps stuffs. Initially, we intended to go gym but lil did we expect that time passed sooooo quickly. TADAHH! And it's 9pm. It was then that i realized im famished. Thus, shuhui and mad strolled all the way to parkway to get our dinner! Thanks sweets! After dinner, we had a mini karaoke session. Sang till like 3am and we aint soft.
The next day, shuhui had 4 breads + oat drink for her brunch whereas mad and i had light serving. THAT GIRL! SHE'S HORRIBLE LA! I wonder what her tummy's made of! Gym-ed, hopscotch-ed and basketballed later the day. We saw this really cute indian boy with his mama. His mom was teaching him basketball. That boy's like so small? It seems like the ball is bigger than him. I noticed that he hennaed a chicken on his palm la. So cuteeeeee!
Since my brunch was light, im uber hungry naturally. Had fried mee-tai-mak, chestnut drink and sourcream and onion pretzel for dinner. YUM!

So anyw, i had to get my teeth fixed today at Alexandra hospital. Hence, i asked shuhui to accompany me there. Before that, we went to queenstown shopping centre. It's my first time there, and my first impression of it was that it's very similar to city plaza. Ulu ulu. Initially, i thought whatever sold there would be replicas, but NO, there's still authentic stuffs like birks converse levis. Not too bad though (: IKEA next!! Took some dumb pictures, will upload it next time. DAMN BLOGGER's not working ):
I shall fast-forward everything to dinner at clementi. Something reeeal big happened. When we were on our way back home, we saw a helluva crowd near the passenger service. The atmosphere's very not right. So we took the escalator up to check it out. Like what we expected, an accident took place; at clementi. We saw men with fireman's helmet, so my immediate reaction was "EH! FIREMAN, wad happen?!" to shuhui.
Then she's like: " accident need fireman for wad? " but she also cant figure out what that guy should be call.
So we came up with fireman ... paramedics ... civil defence! Alright, civil defence it is. I took several pics! very very exciting! will post it up some other time. damn blogger for not behaving again! GRRRRRRRRRR!
Ya, shuhui told me that the man died in that accident at 2030. I'm so gonna buy 4D since it's my FIRST time witnessing a fatal accident.

Many many happy returns. It's once again our clique's outing, and i totally adore it to bits though none of us were punctual. Vivo's omg crowded, and i met amanda and fenni. Our first stop was food republic. Since it was our first time there, we took quite some time to finally manage to find the place to cater. Food republic was extremely packed as well. But we managed to find a place though. Not long after we've found our seats, wanhua called to say she've reached. Haha! Excellent timing. Anyw, we the 4 of us had hokkien mee while wanhua, the one that has just recovered from stomach-flu, had her tonic soup for lunch.
They said weesing's hair is longer than mine! Hmm perhaps. maybe. maybe not! Must be due to

Time really flies.. One mth of vacation seems just like 3days. TICK TICK TICK and TADAH it's gone! Here's a quick recap of what i actually did for the last 2weeks (:
From the 11-17 of sept, shuhui and i found a job at upper paya lebar road (which is like 2 bus-stops away from shimin's workplace). Yup, so we were basically striving hard then.
On the 20th of sept, we went to help out in yr3's fyp, (eye-screening for taxi-drivers) mainly is to help taxi uncles check their vision. Quite fun actually cos i get to know more seniors and of cos learn more stuffs. Being VA pointers is such a bore cos' you just sit there and point at the logmar chart. I prefer to be the taker though (:
After the screening ended, went to meet shimin for xt's pressie and then shun bian watched the banquet. We could only catch the 9.40pm show hence we tot that it will at the most end at 11.40pm. We were so so wrong. Thus, i missed my train home and had to stay over at shimin's place.

All i remember was that we kept eating and eating and eating. Especially pikxuan and carmen. Sometimes i really wonder what their stomachs are made of man! Oh we had bbq btw(: ..how i missed those satays..

Lesson from 10-12pm. Argh! Boring! How interesting can report writing and presentation gets?!
Immediately after class, we went for the cca drive and signed up for WUSHU. Err.. i hope i wont quit it. Shuhui and i went to bedok to meet ken for our pay!!! We only got a partial pay, the remaining balance would be given at a later date. Shuhui accompanied me for a haircut near my place and we got ourselves new spects!!! I was supposed to accompany her to LOOK for spects. Little did i know, i would end up buying. YEA! I can redeem my spects tmr (: Cant wait! Hope it'll turn out nice.
Today's alr the third day of school, but i'm still in the holiday mood ): Oh ya! Did i mention that online shopping is addictive? Haha!

Hate the rain. Hate the rain. Hate the rain. It was raining when i set off in the morn. It was still raining when i returned. Good thing i brought my umbrella along :D
I so missed taking bus 61 to school.

Spent some of our time with isabel and co. Xinmei's hair's so darn cool.

After they left, baobao ass and i decided to explore the hall while waiting for wanhua and chuilin.

job hunting

Gawdddd! I'm completely drained out. For the past few days, i had endless job interviews. And i so need to blog.
MONDAY
Shuhui came across an advert on the straits times. They were looking for promoters/surveyors. Hence, we decided to give it a try since the pay was pretty attractive. We needed people to fill in their personal particulars as well as doing the survey. Extremely tough. Thus, we quitted together with another new friend. Flipped thru the newspaper and spotted another job-tuition coordinator, sounds interesting eh? That's the reason why i took it up. But it isnt as easy as i thought it'll be.
TUESDAY
Though we've alr took up that tuition coordinator job, we still went to look for other jobs. Just to play safe cos we need money desperately. Earlier the month, one friend of mine asked me whether i'm interested in helping bausch & lomb in their roadshows. I was still having my sem exams then, so i've to turn down. However, that job is still available :D Therefore shuhui and i went all the way to the north for an interview. It was then that we realised we've to work for extremely long hours if we took up the job. 12hours every single day!!! 5-6times a week! That's horrendous, but it will benefits us in the future. After much much consideration, we decided to give it a miss as well (: Oh ya! Went to amk before going for the interview. There's this bakery(Q bread) located in amk central which shuhui's kinda interested in. She insisted that their bread are better than bread talk's. Phoned shimin up, and she allows us to go to her house. So nice la she (: Initially, we have no idea where is lorong chuan(new tech park) ; that's the place for the interview, shimin brought out her dad's directories and helped us in the search. We managed to get there thru a website though. After interview, we went toa payoh for dinner and headed home with a bloated stomach.
WEDNESDAY
Had to reached bukit batok by 11.45am for coordinator-training, was late nevertheless. While we were having training, the trainer asked us if we were willing to do admin job. OF COS WE ARE WILLING! That's like our desire job! Easy money somemore. Nothing much on wed, the only thing i remembered was that i had a scrumptious lunch. The stall located next to a dim sum stall at the foodcourt in west mall sells delicious ramen. I guarantee that its nice!
This sure is a lengthy entry.

Mr chris ng promised that gen opt paper will be an easy one. Liar la he. Haiya, no point brooding about it, what's done is done. Dined at marina's pizzahut right after with my classmates. Initially, all of us thought that we have a voracious appetite, so we ordered side-dishes. I've to admit that we were too greedy. We couldnt finish our pizza and have to play hei-bai-pei and hai-dai-quan, to clear the left-overs. Everyone walked off with an extremely bloated stomach.
Shop shop for awhile then we went to play cs. Woo~ shiokkkkkk!

I'm contented cos' the torment will soon be over! Just 4 more days of perseverance! JiayouJiayou! Ohya, I'm done with my APchem and A&P's exam. APchem's screwed; completely screwed. I'm like totally disheartened after that. I'm discouraged cos' i spent loads of time doing my sums and yet.. Grrrrr! If i know i dont put in so much effort in the first place. Today's A&P was okayyy i suppose. Except for endocrine questions; cos i didnt manage to finish studying. Memorizing bio facts is a torture, i tell ya. For me, i have to keep writing and writing and writing to remember them. My hand hurts like nobody's business laaaaa. It feels like as if your muscle is tearing. Blame the lactates for that. Also, the cutaneous membrane of my pinky tore. Really really, I'm not exaggerating. I nearly died for only sleeping for 4hrs yesterday. But despite that i didnt finish endocrine system. If i complete that, i really dont have to sleep alr. Shall prepare for my gen opt later (:

Since boonchoon and i were feeling all disappointed with our biochem, she suggested that we should be blessed with a kbox treat the following day, since we aint having any lessons in the morn. Initially, they said that our whole group's going. It was on the day itself that i found out that px and carmen were not going. Fortunately, mad joined us (:
Clementi's kbox was our pick since it's like the nearest from sch. Sang loads of songs. It was heaps of fun indeed! After singing, we went back to sp for our ideas presentation. YAY! no more ideas and biochem lesson from now onwards. That's like sosososo terrific. And after tmr, we wont have any more maths lesson till sem2 ends!!

How great! My birthday falls on the same day as lunar seven month this year. So.. Happy ghost festival people! A big big THANK YOU to weesing xueting boonchoon shimin carmen pikxuan and pinjing for celebrating my seventeenth birthday with me, i really really appreciate it. Had to reached school early in the morning for general optics prac test, and i happened to be categorized into the last few slots. I've really learnt my lesson, next time i shant talk but rather pay more attention in prac. When it's finally my turn, i cant switch the damn light on. Later, i realised that it's bcos i didnt turn the main switch on. Prac's screwed, shant talk abt it. Oh ya, while waiting for my turn (prac test), im duped by boonchoon and co., they passed me an envelope.

It's been ages since i last went kbox with chuilin. I remembered the last time was in January, which is like 6 plus months ago? Omggg! How can?! Hence, we've decided to frequent kbox once again. Meeting time was 10.30 at alj control station. However, cl's still stuck in school, all thanks to that mr eugene dont know what. We're supposed to reach marina at 11am for k-lunch, sadly, her teacher only dismissed her at 10.55am. As a result, we went to marine parade's kbox instead. It's alr twelve when we arrived at parkway, so it's like only 2hrs left. Usually, people will reserve those really really catchy songs for the last few minutes. Ya, that's what we did as well. BUT we cant stand up and dance cos' our bladder was like so full? LOL!
After that we got ourselves pasar malam food. When i walked past the stall selling nasi lemak and those delicious drumstick, it made me reminisce about my secondary school times. I hate to admit this, but i really missed those times when we bought bubbletea or maggi mee and even nasi lemak if anyone of you guys remember, then we'll choose our seats and gossiped at the void deck where those ah pek played their chess.

MONDAY
Had the most exciting gen opt practical ever. As for the past few weeks, we had been calculating the bending of light and identifying the focal points and all. Omggggg!! How dull! Finally, we can get to touch an ophthalmoscope and examine the retina and other interior parts of the eyes of our peers. This is the picture of the ophthalmoscope we'd used.

Im thrilled cos i'd managed to spot the optic nerve head, veins and arteries of those that i'd examined and draw out the veins and arteries of my partner's eye. Good job, shihan, good job! (: TUESDAY
Class outing was pathetic. There's like 20 people in my class, but only 8 went. Not even half of the class, for goodness sake. Watched pirates of the caribbean with 7 of my classmates plus weesing and carmen. It's ard nine when the show ended, hence we walked to ps for dinner.
THURSDAY
Crs presentation on homosexuality. We have been preparing it since monday. Everything's kinda messy i think but at least we're done with it. Oh ya! There's no more APchem and A&P prac anymore!!!! Hip hip hurrayyyy! I shall bid gen opt prac goodbye next tues :D

Received a booklet on fri regarding student personal deveopment programme. There are loads of thrilling and educational courses for us to enrol so that our vacation will be an exciting one. Personal make-up and mtv dance caught my attention. So i'm like asking my friends desperately if they want to join me. They cant make up their mind and neither can i. Hence i shall psycho them more on mon. Had a game of basketball with class2 guys, jianxiong, jialong, madeleine, amanda, shimin, boonchoon and yingtheng. The weather's like so darn hot la, so im slightly darker now :D
Had a study session with fifi amanda and mad today. Supposed to meet b/w 2.15-2.25. However, everyone's late. Had kuay chap for lunch tgt with mad and fifi. Those chewy intestines were awesome except for pig skin. Amanda had chicken masala, please be kind and pardon my spelling. Ya, its a spicy dish, if you cant take chilli, pleaseeee dont try! You may just end up in swollen lips and tongue.
Looking forward to the next study session with them, cos' they're really smart people. I'm so glad that i managed to finish my tutorial in a very-not-conducive BK nonetheless.

A rather late outing to celebrate wanhua dajie's b'd. Usually when the five of us meet, baobao's prone to be the latest. But surprisingly, she's the FIRST and the only one on time today. We walked aimlessly for a few hrs then our stomach started growling. Settled in Ding Tai Fung for dinner. Their xiao long baos are heavenly. One is not enough for sure. Since the five of us aint that wealthy, we sure do silly stuffs. People like wh and baobao almost finished up their ginger and chuilin finish up her chilli.
After dinner, we strolled to cine to get our subway cookies and then to heeren. Met von kua on the way.

It was indeed a long day ytd. Had to wake up early since my lesson starts at ten. Was late nonetheless. Friday lessons' sucha bore. Try having chemistry then physics followed by chemistry-related-bio and lastly a 2hrs session to teach one how to present and BLAH. It'll totally drained you off, trust me. I will not elaborate on those mundane matters, shall fast-forward everything to 5 in the evening. Was walking to dover mrt station with bc and pj straightaway after lesson. Then came ruth and szy. It was then that i realised ruth and i share the same birthday. They walked off while pj and i were filling our bottles. Saw huiling right after, so decide to go home with her.
me: "eh. where's sel?"
huiling: " she's with her friends, walking here alr."
So in the end, we went home tgt (: It's been quite some time since i last saw her, but she's still as crappy :D:D:D
When i reached alj, sis called so i waited for her and we headed home. It was then that i learnt that mich was dismissed early, and yingyin was dismissed from tuition. Everyone's done and yet my sis and i still haven reach home. As a result, everything's delayed. Mich waited for abt 1hr and i think same goes to yy. My apologies though it's not my fault (:

Met up with qian and liangjun for singing session last week. The night before qian rang me up to update me that there's a change of venue. She reminded me not to be late and added on by saying the latest will have to treat. Haha for her, she's the latest. She treated some snacks though, at least better than nothing (:
I didnt know there's a party world in tanjong pagar. Kind of wu-lu, so many rooms yet only a few are occupied. Manymany songs we sang and manymany pics we took. I so love qian's sony cyber-shot cam la. I think qian and i have got generation gap, some of the songs she sang were like so old? Yes, please imagine men with centre parting and super-big square shaped spects :D , so funny la she.
We had helluva fun that day, everyone's like so high and everything. Shall meet up more often.

Had to wear that hideous spects of mine to school today cos i've got general eye checkup. I think most of the optometry students already had their GE done and proceeding to the next check up, which is contact lens fit. I'm like so slow and everything. Good thing i've made an appointment earlier for soft lens fit, or else i may end up having my SLF in august. I'm so looking forward to getting my free lens, but not soft lens 38 please. I'm like so sick of it alr and it's under the company of Bausch & Lomb. But it's proven that the lenses have no problem, so no fear. I screwed my excel up totally. Urgh! Statistics!

6days ago, i had my first class gathering at madeleine's place. All was present fortunately, though some left earlier. Meeting time was 12 noon at paya lebar mrt station. Since it's only one stop away from mine, i did not make an effort to show up on time cos' many will be late predictably. When i reached, there's only like say 6 or 7 ppl there, madeleine herself was late. So we waited till mad. came then we headed to her place. Long walk though, pitied those who carry boonchoon's mum's curry. We put aside our stuffs when we arrived and set off to parkway parade for lunch. Boonchoon and i had ba chor mee while pinjing ordered porridge which is quite ex. Sometimes, things tend to happen unexpectedly. While we were savouring our scrumptious lunch, mad's dad called and told her that the food we ordered for bbq came. However, the bad news was that the money for the bbq stuffs was with mad. I think there's some miscommunication b/w madeleine and her dad. Cos actually madeleine wanted to run home to pay the delivery-man however her dad insisted her to stay at parkway, probably to accompany us (the guests?), so he told their maid to go parkway to get the money. Ya, I think should be something like that. All in all, the delivery-man get his money and we get our food, so i shant complicate things. Played basketball with amanda, fifi, yun theng, eileen, mad, xueting, pinjing, boonchoon and shimin after we explored mad's room. The boys stayed in the apartment for xbox games while sheena, shuhui, ruohan and fenni played monopoly.
Time passed really quickly and tadahh!! it's time to start fire. The guys managed to start the fire quite quickly.
AFTER A FEW HOURS..
me: eh i very full, wanna go play basketball?
bc: huh!? errr ok loh.
pj: ok.
bc: eh guys you all wanna play anot?

While boonchoon, pinjing and i walked to the court, the guys followed. Then xueting came like say 15mins later. After the game, we went back to the bbq pit. Then i heard shimin said:
" hey shihan, see i very nice right? reserved stingy for you."

Later at ard 8 plus going to nine.

me: huh?! so early?! They've got curfew eh?

After the boys went home, we girls had to try our best to clear foods. Hence somebody suggested to play 'zhong ji mi ma'. Not bad la, at least we managed to clear the french loaves and satays :D

Woke up at 9plus yesterday cos' my family had to attend a tea ceremony of a newlywed. The dinner's held today which i couldnt attend due to the final year project :( I cant bear to give fyp a miss as there're incentives given. Anyways, we went junction8 after the whole thing ended. It's been ages since i went there and we took manymany pictures
using yingyin's phone.
FYP: My 4 other friends and i participated in yr3's final year proj regarding ocular temperature. We had to go thru the same old procedures for a freaking seven times!! Plus there must be interval in b/w every ocular temp check. Hence, we had to find ourselves some stuffs to kill boredom and time. Oh ya! It was then that i realised 5projects are awaiting for me to complete, and i've yet done one. 2 more visits to go so that i can retrieve my stuffs! Cant wait :D

Schooling is such a bore if you've nothing to look forward to. Fortunately for me, ive got yoga lesson and basketball to attend to later the evening. And because of that, i dragged myself out of bed in the morning. Met madeleine at my station cos' ive to help her take stuffs. She brought with her 2 tennis rackets, a basketball, a sweater and her very bulky bag.

All of our bags were bulky. Mine's stuffed with clothings so i assume others also.
Fifi shimin bc amanda and i went for yoga lesson and the rest played tennis while waiting. The practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and makes your body strong and flexible. It brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. That yoga teacher's really nice (:
After that, fifi and boonchoon left for other programmes while shimin, amanda and i went to look the rest up at the tennis court.

Was super shocked when i reached dover today. Pinjing wore her spects for goodness sake and so did carmen. Then i'm like the only myopic one w/o glasses. Many a times, i'll grumble that i get difficult modules, smart classmates etc. But i'll nv regret choosing optometry. WHY?! Cos' i can get FREE lenses. Next mon, i'm going to help the yr3 seniors with their final year project by letting them test my eyes. And by doing that, i'll be rewarded a brand new trendy spectacle! But i scare i'm not eligible for it. Prescription must not be above 570.

As usual, we waited for everyone at dover station. And so not surprisingly, birthday girl was late. However, the one with the cake was even later. As a result, we were late for chris ng's lecture. And if we're late for his lec, we're supposed to enter from the back door. The main purpose of that, i think, was to not disturb the rest of our classmates. Although we enter from the back door, we still happily walked to the front of the lecture theatre. Hence, entering from the back door is like so pointless?
After the draggy 3hrs lec, we proceeded to FC4, ~~our~~ carmen's all-time fav place, for lunch. We would love to have our cake there but, alas, FC was far too crowded. In addition, there were like a group of guys eyeing at our seats. Left with no other choices, we hunted for a better place (:
While walking, we remembered that we've advance booked the library's project room (: And fortunately, that particular room was ENCLOSED. So.. we had our "celebration" there :D :D :D

WTF! The itchiness dont seem to wanna go away ): so no choice, can only wear jeans for the week. Camp was helluva fun! Fun like siao i tell ya. Ok, i shall elaborate (:
Initially, i thought there'd be like say hundred plusplus people going for the camp cos' i was told that the camp was full. However, when weesing and i reached clementi (meeting pt), there wasnt alot of people, then we were like.. "oh no! sure not fun one. SIANNNN" We were wrong la, of cos.
Fri: Since our meeting time was like at 8pm, there's nth much we could do at that hr. We were briefed, introduced and grouped. Joga Bonito was our group's name. It simply means play something beautifully. Couldnt quite remember wad i did on fri, the only very CLEAR thing was that when all of us were busy savouring our cookies and sipping our milo, some people from group 2 came sneaking behind and stole our grp's flag. Like wth, flag kena stolen on the very first day, just a few hrs after it's complete. Damn damn suay la, we can only retrieve the flag after being forfeited. Went to rest after, only to realise that there's NO mattress. Left with no other choices, we'd to sleep on the ground of cos, with bags as our pillow. SO SO poor thing la. Why make sleeping bags an optional item? For me, optional means dont have to bring.
Sat: Couldnt really sleep well bcos the room was freaking cold and the floor's far too hard. I know la, floor not hard then not call floor alr right. But it was really one of the disturbing factor that disrupted my beauty sleep. Had breakfast - spaghetti. Wow! Pasta for camp! Makes me so so hungry BUT unfortunately, it didnt taste that well. Far too sour. Got prepared for kayaking straightaway after we'd eaten. Just when all of us were all ready to set off, it poured ): Kayaking was nevertheless fun maybe cos i've got a very nice partner. He's the one kayaking most of the time. Im like so chaota-ed after kayaking. Sigh.. Pulau ubin next! While we were pitching, the skeleton of the tent broke. Omg, how lucky. Fortunately, we managed to squeeze into all four of 'em. More unlucky things happened, the rain cant seem to cease la. Rain; stop; rain; stop. So irritating. Thus, we had to get into our stuffy tents and do nth. After the rain stopped completely, we were out for campfire, then night walk. Oh ya! Talking about nightwalk, I was almost dozing off while walking la. Yes, no joke ok; that fatigued.
Sun: Did i mention abt pulau water earlier on? Damn gross i tell you. Yellowish yellowish one. Eeeekkk. Imagine you HAVE TO use that to brush teeth and wash face. Wah! Makes me feel so sick. Cycling next up! It's a long and tiring process, shant elaborate. It was only then that i realized malay guys are more 'gentleman' as compared to the chinese (:

How lucky can i be?! My com chose that perfect timing to hang while i was about to publish my post yesterday. That was so very annoying! Ah wadeva, what's done is done.
Today is wednesday. The day of the week which i so look forward to (: I like wednesday because.. according to my timetable, it reads that lesson starts at 10 and ends at 3. However, something's bound to somehow spoil your entire day. Say for today, my lesson should starts at 10, and all thanks to my AP chem lecturer who cancelled last week's lesson, we have to reach school at 9 for a make-up. As a result, we had a 3hrs chem lecture today. Hardly any breaks in between. She's like rushing through la, and kept saying we're lagging behind. I'm not trying to be mean or what, but she's the main reason why we're lagging behind. After class, she added on that she couldnt make it for this fri's tutorial AGAIN, thus we have to have ANOTHER make-up on wednesday. Oh no! A wednesday again! Haha i think i should cease all my complaints for later on (:
Oh ya, forget to mention that weesing brought her family's home-made gyoza to school yesterday. It was yumyum la. We finished them among ourselves ( 8 of us ) during a 10mins toilet break. Many went like: "Eh very nice leh, how u make one? Teach us leh." Obviously not she make one loh haha. But it was indeed delicious and I'm yearning for more (:

Attended a folly sex talk earlier on. Nothing special though. How special can syphilis and gonorrea be. During the talk, the speaker went: " you can get aids thru oral sex also ". Immediately after she finished her sentence, someone from the back blurted out, " SHIT!"
It was loud enough for those sitting at the front to turn their heads behind. LOL
In addition, anyone who had attented that talk would be awarded cca points. So easy to earn credits, just sit there and shake leg can alr haha.

Had an impromptu meeting at gm a few hours earlier. I was late firstly because i ended school at ard 4.30pm. It takes me about 35mins to reach kallang. Secondly, all thanks to ong weesing, who claims that bus 853 dont get to kallang bahru. Therefore resulting us waiting for another good 10mins. Nevermind, I shall forgive her (:
We saw a bigbig group standing outside the general office when we arrived.
Big group consists of chuilin, wanhua, baobao, kahang, weikhim, huili and catherine. Haha not very big though. It's been a long long long longgggggggg time since i saw kahang and huili and catherine and weikhim la. They look so different.
Went to the hawker where we used to frequent. And as usual, we took pictures.

Pimple after pimple eversince school starts. Sigh.. Nvm im kinda used to it alr. More will come next week, i predict. Was late for a&p though i reached dover early. Contradicting? Yes maybe.
I always meet up 3 other girls before attending lecture/tutorials. Always, there will be someone who's extremely late.
First meeting: xueting
second: me
third: mich
fourth: pinjing
So it's somehow like a cycle. We'll see if xueting's next up.
But today there's a slight difference, pinjing's not the cause of us being late. Instead, it's someone whom we never usually meets. Ahh. Long story shant elaborate.
After a&p prac, we had lunch at FC3. Wah their food was so not to my liking. Not to my friend's liking either. Then we went to get our LABCOATS!! If you're wondering what lab coats are, here's a picture of it (:

After we've purchased our coats, we proceed to T2 to meet up with our seniors for 2nd/3rd hand textbooks. Bought mine at $16. Pretty good condition for a 3rd hand though. Haha that senior damn nice la.

Guy somemore leh. Shuhui bought hers at 20. BUT hers is even worst, with almost every single sentence highlighted. Went for an hr of general optics lecture and im free after. Chilled at the library after lesson. Me, reading magazines while the others used com.

Lesson started.
My empty, flat file was once again filled with thick, heavy lecture notes. Had 3hrs of physics lecture today. Not too bad i must say. Cos Chris Ng, whose the lecturer, gave us breaks generously and also let us off 30mins earlier for lunch break.
Lunched with weesing, carmen, michelle, pinjing, pikxuan and xueting at FC4. Yes, the air-conditioned one. All of us had mee hun kway except for xueting. She left earlier to meet up with her other friend. It's really nice to know this bunch of crazy fellows. They're reallyreally funny.
We've plenty of time to spare after lunch. Hence, we went library next. Chatted. Gossiped. Then off to maths lesson. Maths was boring nonetheless. She always adds in redundant stuffs la. Ask weesing if you dont believe. Biochem next. Ok. I hardly listen for this. Cant blame me. At least i pulled through the last 2hrs. 8-5 is a torture. And i've finally managed to survive through tues.

I hate it when school starts. I detest it not bcos im indolent but simply bcos i'll get pimples if i dont sleep well/stressed. Perhaps im too used to sleeping at least 12hrs daily that i'll get them even when im stressed-free. HA. How lucky!

Not surprisingly, she'll reply: "Aiya go wash your face and put pimple cream loh."
STANDARD ANSWER.
Well.. Here's what i've found out (may only be effective to some)

1. use a strong toothpaste.
it has to be a strong one. not those that lil kids use with strawberry flavour. only use it when your pimple is really big.

2. Getting rid of pimples fast
drink lots of water to flush out impurities.

3. Avoid touching your skin
avoid resting your chin on your hand. try to keep hands and hair away from face.

I somehow feel that drinking plenty of water helps.

I think i'm most probably siao to go all the way to bedok just for a jog. Intended to jog the path from miss bread's hse to ass's. However failed, all thanks to me.
In fact i've no idea what went wrong with me. Maybe cos of the scorching hot weather? Or cos i never do warm up? That feeling was reallyreally scary. It's like your eyes are wide open yet you see nothing. DIZZY. As if gonna black out or something. SERIOUS.
Fortunately wanhua and weesing were ard to support me to the nearest bench to rest. I was sweating profusely la and im NOT exaggerating. Miss bread said it's cold sweat. Whoa! That's my first time experiencing cold sweat :D:D:D

Damn damn damn! Why must we always have to get things done several times?!
Medical checkup - thrice. Now this. I dont remember them giving out freshman package when i went for registration. Thus, we have to make another trip down to DOVER just to get that stupid package.

The package contains: file, pen, highlighter, towel, notebook, foolscap paper, stick-on pad, jersey-like tee and a completely hideous shoebag.

Wanhua called saying that she'd be joining baobao and chuilin for study session cos she wanted to trim her brows. However, unfortunately, she's the only one NOT PRESENT. LOL. ah hua ar.. you missed all the fun!
Well.. Weesing and i decided to help baobao with her work. Hence, we flipped thru her messy notes and settled on chemistry - atomic structure.
I can finally use my brain after so so so long :D :D :D and i'm lovin' it (:
